… As Ifanyi Nna Takes Esther Etim to wife

Married couples in the country have been advised to adopt Divine pattern in marriage prescribed by God if they want to succeed in their marriages.
The advice was laid down in Itu local government area at Late Mr. Ita Etim Udo’s compound by a clergy, Pastor Saviour Ekpe during the 
traditional marriage ceremony between Ifanyi Samuel Nna of Umukula Asa in Ukwa West local government area of Abia State and Miss Esther Ita Etim of Ika, Oku Iboko in Itu local government area of Akwa Ibom State on Friday March 8, 2019. Pastor Ekpe of the Deeper Life Bible Church, Ikot Okubo Group of Districts in Uyo who was Chairman on the occasion read from the book of Genesis Chapter 2 verses 18 and 24.
Saviour Ekpe who also is the Editor-in-Chief of Century Newsfront Newspapers described marriage as an age-long institution established by God Himself. He added that loneliness is inimical to man’s existence and survival hence the Divine assertion, “It is not good that the man should be alone; I will make him an help meet for him…Therefore shall a man leave his father and his mother, and shall cleave unto his wife…”. He charged 
the would be couple and those in attendance to desist from all forms of evil practices and tendencies and embrace God the institutor of marriage who has the ability to heal broken marriages so as to fulfill the ultimate essence of creation.
Earlier in his exhortation, Pastor Aniefiok Who read from Ephesians Chapter 5 in verses 20 to 25 admonished the couple to adhere to the Divine arrangement of wife getting clued and obeying the husband while the husband on his part is to love the wife irrespective of what happens, then their family will experience the true marital bliss. Pastor Aniefiok called on all to imbibe the fear of God that gives wisdom on how to operate homes devoid of rancor and acrimony.
After all the marital rites, which was preceded by the popular ‘Udia Ibenge’ and ‘nsio ke akedi?’, the events witnessed the handing over of the bride by the parents to Ifanyi with an instruction to care for her and keep her in good health. The event witnessed blessing of the union. Those present at the ceremony included members and senior pastors of the Deeper Life Bible Church from Uyo and Itu regions such as Pastors Udeme James, Aniefiok, David, Josiah among others.
Meanwhile, Mr. Ifanyi Samuel Nna invites all to witness the solemnization of the holy matrimony on Saturday March 23, 2019 at the Deeper Life Bible Church, State Headquarters of IBB Way, Uyo by 10am while reception will follow at St. Patrick Primary School, Abak Road, Uyo.
