“I can see everything turning around…for my good”, this is one of the songs sung by a cross section of the people of the oil-rich states, the South Southern part of Nigeria as the founder and General Superintendent of the Deeper Christian Life Ministry, Dr. William Folorunso Kumuyi tours the region for miracle crusade.
The visit is actually not the first time and that may not necessarily be the news but what really makes the news is the level of preparation made by leadership and members of the church in the region. The level of preparation made looks as if the world is ending today and as if the man of God will not visit the area any more. It is true that an average Deeper Life member is very zealous but, but this time, it appears like ‘trouble taken too far’ where every household in the region is aware of this epochal event as different approaches and strategies are adopted to ensure greater number of people hear, attend and receive blessings through the programme.
Aside zealousness of members and leadership influence, every member sees it as an opportunity to rid social vices prevalent in the region such as militancy, kidnapping, armed robbery, vandalization of public utilities and such like. They believe that if perpetrators of these vices hear the word of God, there will be a corresponding change that will cause them to avoid these heinous acts.
The power crusade, which is billed up to hold successively in three states in the South South of Cross River, Akwa Ibom and Rivers States on Wednesday September 12, 2018 at U. J. Esuene Stadium, Calabar, Cross River State by 5pm; Thursday September 14, 2018 by 5pm at Unity Park, Udo Udoma Avenue, Uyo, Akwa Ibom State while Friday September 15, 2018, Rivers State will take its turn at the Deeper Life Camp Ground, East West Road , Rumudara, Port Harcourt by 5pm with themes: The Wonders of His Power; The Day of His Power and the God of Wonders while the dates, venues and time for the remaining three states will be at a later day of the month of September, 2018.
The power crusade will be administered by Pastor Kumuyi himself and assisted by his ebullient and star studded lieutenants in the region. It is on record that the 77 years old Ogun-State born preacher of holiness, a former don who gave his entire life for the preaching of the gospel of Christ is indeed, a gift to this generation who conducts revival programmes around the world with gifts of working miracles through the power of God Almighty.
As he visits the South South region with the power of God, great revival, deliverance, salvation, healing, prosperity await the people. All are invited for an experiential blessing from God.
