Sunday the 5th day in the Month of June in the year of our Lord 2016 will mark a turnaround in the annals of the people and government of Akwa-Abasi Ibom as it will play host to an international evangelist, crusader and apostolic preacher, Pastor William Folunsho Kumuyi, the General Superintendent of Deeper Christian Life Ministry.
Pastor Kumuyi (popularly known as holiness preacher of distinctive quality) will minister at the Uyo Sports Stadium by 8am with the theme, “Extra-Ordinary Breakthrough at a Superlative Sunday Worship”. The special programme will feature salvation, healing, deliverance and miracles. Also in the package will be prayers for the leadership and government of the state.
Speaking recently on the visit of Pastor Kumuyi to the state, the State Overseer of the Deeper Christian Life Ministry, Akwa Ibom State, Pastor Obinna Nkemjerika said that the coming of the servant of God will bring special favour to the land and people of the State. He described Pastor Kumuyi as a man full of anointing and the power of the Holy Ghost to perform wonders in our time. He called on the people of the state to take advantage of the visit by coming out enmasse to receive Divine touch from God.
In a chart with news men, the Eket Region Overseer of Deeper Christian Life Ministry, Pastor … Inyang who is the Chairman of the Central Planning Committee added that the visit of Pastor Kumuyi is an added blessing to the people of the state in view of innumerable blessings received through the ministry of this servant of God. Pastor Inyang maintained that the servant of God is fully prepared to release God’s blessing to the people of the State and urged the people to come out as the programme is a non-denominational one.
Also speaking, the Permanent Secretary, State Budget Office, Pastor Nicholas Ekarika who was excited over the visit of Pastor Kumuyi said that the present economic situation in the country needs Divine intervention. Pastor Ekarika who is also the State Coordinator of Deeper Life Campus Fellowship said that Akwa Ibom already is in the eye of God and it needs God’s servant like Pastor W. F. Kumuyi to strengthen the leadership of the state through his apostolic prayers and ministration.
It could be recalled that Pastor W. F. Kumuyi has over four decades ago been consistent in his salvation messages through his general theme, “Jesus only is our message” where he reaches out to the whole world with the gospel of Jesus Christ that has power to save sinners from their sins; heals the oppressed and delivers the afflicted. This is evident in the manifestation of the power of God through the preaching of the gospel with diverse miracles that accompany his preaching.
As the man of God visits Akwa Ibom State on Sunday June 5, he is coming with the fullness of the Power of the Holy Spirit to deliver the state and her people from the shackles of sin, Satan and sicknesses and to saturate the people of the state with blessings from on high. Everyone is invited to come to Uyo Sports Stadium on Sunday June 5 to see the God of all wonders that knows no impossibility.
