The Reality of Good Dream

A patriarch, Apostle Efefiong Udosen from Uruan Local Government Area of Akwa Ibom State had a dream of establishing an educational Institution where knowledge is transferred from one generation to another. The teething challenges were the location and wherewithal to kick start such a big dream. With divine inspiration and direction, the reality of good dream came up with higher Institution of learning, which is generally believe that education is the bedrock of every development.
This great Institute, Peace Institution of Management and Technology (An Innovative Polytechnic) established in 2016 is located at Abak Urban Kilometer four, Mbarakom Abak in Abak local government area of Akwa Ibom State has since its inception played a tremendous role of weeding illiteracy out of the community. As part of the institution’s corporate social responsibilities to the operational community and in line with its Motto, “knowledge for empowerment”, the institution launched a scholarship package to accommodate thirty (30) students from the three senatorial district of the state and also to non indigent as part of his quota for the development of human capital.
Peace Institution of Management and Technology was established to provide courses of instruction, Training and Research in Computer Hardware Engineering Technology, Computer Networking and Security Engineering as well as Multimedia Technology. Also Professional Diploma And Higher Diploma in related Management And Administration Courses Coordinated By Professional bodies such as Chartered Institute of Administration(CIA), Chartered Institute of Commerce of Nigeria (CICN), Nigeria Institute of Management (NIM), ICT Related Professional Certifications From Computer Professional Council of Nigeria (CPN), CISCO, Oracle, Microsoft Will Be Introduced.
The Institution that is focused on its mission of providing a “suitable environment for academic and moral development that will guarantee the production of globally competitive graduates for societal benefit and self reliance at affordable school fees”, emboldened with is Vision as “academic center of excellence that will provide an enabling environment for the students to maximize their potentials in their chosen course of study and build intellectual development for the benefit of the society”.
The Proprietor, Apostle Efefiong Udosen assisted by ebullient, Dr. Peace Udosen and supported by star studded staffers said that the Institution has met up basic requirements hence the approval and accreditation by Federal Ministry of Education as well as National Board for Technical Education (NBTE) and the new birth of development. They called on parents that desired the best for their wards to take advantage of the ongoing admission to register their wards while advising old students to return to school on the resumption date of October 2, 2018 for 2018/2019 session.
