The long awaited National December retreat of the Deeper Christian Life Ministry is around the corner.
Akwa Ibom State is not left out as preparation is ongoing in all the thirteen regions of the state. However, the different units of the church are preparing immensely at their various regional headquarters. The retreat tagged, “Hope: Feasting after the Famine” will be commencing on December 21 to 25 simultaneously.
Speaking with the Century Newsfront, Mrs. Glory Luke one of the woman leaders and a chorister at Ikot Abasi Region revealed thus, “this retreat will be one of the best and we are believing God for abundant testimony and miracle galore. God’s glory will be seen in all the camps and it will be a solution ground as God has already spoken through his servant, Pastor Kumuyi”.
In addition to that, publicity is ongoing. Publicity materials such as flyers, T-shirts and posters have already been circulated. Our source confirmed that attendance this year will increase as the regional overseer, Ikot Abasi region, Pastor John Etuk has advised members to come with at least two invitees. He also added that there is provision for food and hostels free of charge for all participants. He called on the would be participants to come with great expectation from God and He will surely meet everyone at the point of their needs.
