The newly elected executive members of Qua Iboe Church Students’ Fellowship of Nigeria (QICSFON), Akwa Ibom State Polytechnic, Ikot Osurua Chapter pledged to make God’s business their business in Ikot Ekpene while inaugurating the newly elected executive of the body recently.
The Congregational Pastor, Ekomobong David Ekpeyong while inaugurating the executive members of QICSFON at Qua Iboe Church, Ikot Osurua Superintendency Headquarters, Ikot Ekpene Area Conference.
Speaking at the event, Pastor Ekpeyong who also is the National Coordinator of QICSFON harped on the need for the new executive members to maintain decorum in manners and conduct. He charged the New Generation of QICSFON to be brave and courageous, stressing that the power of God is upon them, as such, nothing can hinder them and the fellowship at large, “God is with you nothing can stand against you”.
In his valedictory speech, the out-gone President of QICSFON, Akwa Ibom State Polytechnic, Ikot Osurua Chapter, Papa Christopher Etuk congratulated the new President, Papa Offiong Koffi and his cabinet and prayed God’s wisdom, grace and understanding to shepherd souls under their watch. He appreciated Qua Iboe Church Ikot Osurua for accommodating the fellowship as a mother church since the inception of QICSFON Akwapoly Chapter years ago. He implored his successor to treat God’s business with love and care to attract the blessings that accompanied it.
In his interaction with Century Newsfront, the President of QICSFON, Akwa Ibom State Polytechnic, Ikot Osurua Chapter, Papa Offiong Koffi thanked God for the opportunity granted him and his entire executive members to serve in His vineyard. On behalf of his executive members, he pledged to make God’s business their business.
The out-gone Vice President of QICSFON, Akwa Ibom State Polytechnic, Ikot Osurua Chapter, Miss Glory Udoka expressed her gratitude to God for a successful inauguration/handing over service. The event featured song ministration by the different Choir groups, testimonies, presentation of seats to the church by the out-gone HND two students of QICSFON, Akwa Ibom State Polytechnic, Ikot Osurua Chapter; Pastor’s welfare among others.
