Atiku, A-5-Star-Leader Set For Nigeria Rescue Mission

By John Ernest

It has become even visible to the blind man that Nigeria is yearning for good leadership and governance. With past and current administrations and their various impressions, Nigeria stands a chance of becoming the world’s most promising and yet diverse economy with its ever-reliable workforce, human capacity, natural resources, industry-friendly geographical location and lots more only if led by a good leader.

With Nigeria being more integrated, sophisticated and enlightened than ever, it is said that there’s progress in unity, which stands us a chance of rapid growth and proper industrialization only if we work together in choosing a credible leader placed at the center bringing all our forces as a synergy for national development. As the old saying goes, “nothing good comes easy,” good governance will require a plan, not just for managing day-to-day governance issues but to address emerging and anticipated future challenges. The goals of good governance, after all, are people’s security and welfare and the smooth functioning of society.

Looking back in 2015, Nigeria made the greatest mistake in the annals of political history by electing a candidate from APC. But today, gnashing of teeth, killings and crying foul have become the order of the day. The prices of commodities have gone extremely higher than expected. The prices of the Petroleum products have gone haywire. We are now in between the devil and deep blue sea. We have become a nation running from one pillar to another seeking for a positive change that seems so hard to find. But do we fold our hands and watch our country sent into the dungeon by those cabals? Does it mean we have no other better options as a nation?

Atiku Abubakar is not a saint, but in Atiku, there is hope and a better future for this nation. Atiku Abubakar does not need to be introduced in the Nigeria polity. Looking back to the years of his stewardship in government. Atiku Abubakar is a great man that’s stating the obvious. This is a man I owe so much respect not just because he is a politician but because he has remained a highly principled man over time.

He was Nigeria Vice President during the time of His Excellency, Olusegun Obasanjo. Atiku is a man who considers politics as a means to ensuring judicious management of government resources and the enforcement of good governance to improve the lives of people; not a means of controlling people themselves. He has the skills-set and experience to make any system work in accordance with the expectations of the people. A kind-hearted man is always loved by all no matter what you do to tarnish his image. All that was told against him did not make the true lovers of Nigeria to despise him. It did not deter him from being his normal self. He never over reacted or planned any campaign of calumny against his opponents, rather he was calm, gentle and meek and that endeared him to the hearts of so many Nigerians.

Today, Atiku Abubakar is A Presidential HOPEFUL in the forthcoming General election. Leadership requires skill and vision and these are both things that work with longevity in private and public lives. You certainly won’t see old people appointed in Turaki’s. Such tales only happened where grandpas with analogue ideas operate as leaders. There are many reasons why the Turaki Adamawa is the best option for Nigeria to move forward. ATIKU is not a fantasy: The main problem bedeviling Nigeria is that of leaders who are FANATICS.

These leaders are always out to suppress those who are not in the same line of religion, political party, region, tribe or kindred with them. Such people are witch-hunters and not leaders. But in the case of Atiku, he is not fanatical. He doesn’t care if you are Igbo, Hausa, Yoruba or even Ibibio. He doesn’t want to know the political party you belong to. To him, religion does not matter. Whether Christian, Muslim, traditionalist, he is just interested in knowing you are a Nigerian and that’s all that matters. Looking into Atiku Abubakar’s face, you would see a man with big heart. A kind man and a man with conscience. You will behold a man who would not fold his hands and watch killings and maiming Nigerians. You will see a man who would not regard or refer to any tribe as 3% for not voting him in an election. You will see a human face which is why Nigerians are beckoning on him to come and salvage them at these most trying times of their lives.

Atiku Abubakar is known to be close to all tribes. With him in Aso Rock, there will be equal right and mutual understanding between people from the six geopolitical zones we have in Nigeria. It’s time for the PDP delegates to jettison sentiments and vote Atiku Abubakar during the PDP Presidential Primaries to make him PDP flag bearer. Let’s be great again, Let’s make good choices as better people for the best Nigeria.

In his reaction, a media expert in Akwa Ibom State, the State Auditor, Nigeria Union of Journalists, Akwa Ibom State Council, Pastor Saviour Ekpe, JP said that Atiku Abubakar is coming as a saviour to Nigeria in a time where Nigerians are yearning for answer to their prayers. Pastor Ekpe who described the Waziri Adamawa as round peg in a round hoe as long as Nigerian politics is concerned. Pastor Ekpe who also is the Editor-in-Chief of Newsfront Newspapers noted that the wealth of experience of Atiku spanning from public, business and private managerial life afford him the capacity to take Nigeria to the eldorado, “His Excellency Atiku Abubakar worked in the Nigeria Customs Service for twenty years, rising to become the Deputy Director, as the second highest position in the Service was then known. He has successfully managed his business empires within and outside the shores of Nigeria. As a former Vice President of the second largest black race in the world, Atiku will be able to manage our economy well. Moreover, he is a strong advocate and believer in true federalism, like what he often said, ‘true Federalism will encourage States to compete to attract investments and skilled workers rather than merely waiting for monthly revenue allocation from Abuja’. This is the type of person we want to lead this country”, Pastor Ekpe noted.

The media manager added that the Nigerian politician, businessman and philanthropist, Atiku owing to his philanthropic gestures across the country has attracted many titles, awards and accolades to himself including theHarris Wofford Global Citizen Award by National Peace Corps Association (NPCA) an independent, nonprofit organisation. He also backed the highest title for a non indigene, Zege Mule Tivland.
