Akwa Ibom gubernatorial hopeful, Sen. Ita Enang has taken his ambition to his community and officially declare his interest to contest for governorship of the state under the flagship of All Progressives Congress (APC).
While addressing the people of Ikot Akpan Nya-Ididep, he enumerated his plans for Akwa Ibom State and the people of Ibiono Ibom at large even as he solicited for their support. Receiving him at his palace, the village head of Ikot Akpan Nya-Ididep, Etteidung Bassey Edet Umoren, expressed his support towards his ambition to become the Governor of the State in 2023, while urging the people of Ikot Akpan Nya-Ididep and Ibiono at large to give Senator Enang the needed support.
He said: “its a great thing to hear that Ikot Akpan Nya-Ididep is producing such vibrant, credible, ambitious and resourceful man as governorship candidate ahead of 2023. “I’ve been giving blessings in the past to people from other local government who have contested for this same position, but to our son, Sen. Ita Enang I am not only going to give him support as an illustrious son, I will as well pray for his success.
Community leaders alongside other APC Stakeholders and Youths expressed their support towards what they described as “the Jubilee Movement journey”.
