…Creates Media Topic Bank For Journalists In Akwa Ibom
The Peter Obi Support Network (POSN) Media Team in Akwa Ibom State has concluded plans publicise the campaign activities of Mr. Peter Obi as he journeys to Aso Rock come 2023 General Elections.
This hint was dropped by the Media Director of POSN in Akwa Ibom State, Saviour Ekpe at the POSN office at Bennet Bassey Street, Uyo yesterday during a meeting of members of the POSN Media Team
Ekpe, the Publisher/Editor-in-Chief of Newsfront Newspapers told media professionals that though 2023 general elections would be highly competitive, Peter Obi has a better chance in view of his corruption-free records and strong determination to correct errors in the polity, hence the need to give effective publicity to his activities.
He charged members to visit, contribute topics to the media topic bank created by the POSN Media team in Akwa Ibom State where journalists are to select relevant topics of choice to write in support of the presidential candidate of Labour Party, Mr. Peter Obi, ahead of the 2023 general elections.
According to Ekpe, “every member of POSN media team would be expected to pick, at least, one topic from the bank every week to write articles, features and editorials about Mr. Obi and his campaign activities”.
He urged every member of the group to be on the alert so as to participate in POSN meetings that would be holding across the state, as campaigns for next year’s election gather momentum. “Every chapter of POSN organizing events, we’re expected to cover, report and get the news syndicated through various media outlets so that people will get to know what’s happening in Akwa Ibom State and follow us accordingly”, he added.
The media Team of Peter Obi Support Network (POSN) in Akwa Ibom State has robust media professionals from different media houses in the state including publishers, Editors and senior reporters.
