… Eulogizes his leadership qualities and Attributes
The Management and staff of the Akwa Ibom State Budget Office, Friday, put off temporarily, official engagement to celebrate with their Boss and Head, State Budget Office, Deacon Otu Edem Asuquo on his birthday .
The surprised Birthday ceremony which held at the Budget Office, Governor’s Office Annex , Wellington Bassey Way, Uyo was used to pour encomiums on Deacon Asuquo whom they described as dependable Boss, Father, Mentor, Brother, Friend, effective and result- Oriented technocrat as well as dutiful Public servant.
The Head, Capital Estimates, Mr. Ekwere Eshiet expressed appreciation to God for sustaining the life of their Boss, noting that since his emergence as the Head of Budget, the office has recorded tremendous successes which motivated staff to enhance effective service delivery. Mr. Ekwere noted that without life, no one can achieve any goal hence the need to thank God for his loving kindness, Care and love. He commended Deacon Asuquo for his transparent and purposeful manner in the discharge of duties, adding that his commitment, sincerity, and hardwork has propelled him to succeed.
In their separate remarks, Representatives of Different Units in the Office including the Head of Payroll, Mrs. Grace Paul; Head of Secret Registry, Mrs Elizabeth Udofia; Transport, Mr. Akanimo Akpabio, that of Stores, Mr. Yellow Udosen as well as his Confidential Secretary, Mrs. Uduak Udofia. They extolled excellent leadership styles of their Boss and prayed for Divine strength, wisdom, understanding as he continues to render service to God and humanity.
Responding, The Elated Head of State Budget Office, Deacon Otu Edem Asuquo thanked his staff for the surprised package and for their contributions towards Service delivery. The Celebrator said the support received from staff has enabled the office to deliver timely, transparent and accurate budgeting for the state in line with the best acceptable standard. He called on them to continue to be diligent in their onerous responsibility assuring of a continuous working relationship in years to come.
In a related development, the Head of the State Budget Office has continued to receive accolades from friends and well wishers as he begins another journey on earth. They expressed their feelings on various social media handles, describing him as honest, effective, proactive and dedicated technocrat who is committed to service excellence. They prayed God to continue to guide, guard, direct, and lead him aright in years to come. On his facebook comment, a media consultant and Publisher of Century Newsfront Newspapers, Pastor Saviour Ekpe while thanking God for the life of our boss described him as a “great Budget expert and Administrator” who has given the state a green light in terms of budgeting. While wishing him a smashing 2020 birthday expressed the hope that our boss will grow from strength to strength in his career.
