Celine Dion, the best-selling Canadian artist of all time, has canceled her Courage world tour while battling a neurological disorder.
The 55-year-old publicly announced in December that she had been diagnosed with the disorder known as Stiff Person Syndrome.On Friday, Celine posted an image of her canceled tour dates on Instagram with a bilingual caption in English and French saying “It is with tremendous disappointment that we have to announce today the cancellation of the courage world tour”.
She apologized to her fans and promised to refund purchased tickets adding that she’s “working really hard to build back her strength. It’s not fair to you to keep postponing the shows, and even though it breaks my heart, it’s best that we cancel everything now until I’m really ready to be back on stage again.
‘I want you all to know, I’m not giving up… and I can’t wait to see you again!” The complete list of canceled tour dates included shows in France, Belgium, Denmark, Poland and the UK.
