A leading media outfit, Century Newsfront Newspapers is set to celebrate its 15th year of effective and fruitful news dissemination in the month of October, 2021.
In a press release jointly signed by the Editor-in-Chief, Saviour Ekpe and the Chairman, Newsfront Editorial Board, Prof. Imoh Ukpong indicate that the event would be used to honour three major categories of people who have played one role or the other.
The statement reads in part, “the occasion would be used to honour three (3) major categories of people based on their roles: 1. General Readers – We will use the occasion to reward handsomely, our esteemed readers both online and print editions (including those that like, love, comment, share etc.) on our social media platforms. Outstanding Partners – The occasion will also feature special recognition and awards to our outstanding partners. Century Newsfront Newspapers will select based on patronages individual/organisation for this award. 3. Exceptional Contributions To The Society – Media Excellence Award would be presented to deserving persons/organisations for their exceptional contributions to the development of their immediate communities. The statement further explained that all “Nominations would be selected by merit by our team of experts for the awards; all categories of the award are free. Please note that staffers of Century Newsfront and their family members are NOT eligible for any of the award categories. Nominators on the last category should state reasons/unique areas of contributions of their nominees to their immediate communities, including name, contact information (Email and phone number), position/area of work and office address of the nominee (please indicate state and country clearly) and submit on: awards@newsfrontonline.com.ng All categories of nomination commences on Thursday April 1, 2021 and closes on Wednesday September 1, 2021. Winners will be contacted for the event billed up for October, 2021”.
Speaking to Century Newsfront the Editor-in-Chief of Century Newsfront Newspapers, Saviour Ekpe stated that though the event will be low key, the media outfit is partnering with two, “notable organizations such as Oralmedia Communications as well as a non-Governmental Organisation, Completecare and Empowerment Initiative to make the event worthwhile to the delight of its stakeholders. More partners are wanted in this regard”.
