A non-governmental and International Organisation in Nigeria, Academic Scholars for Peter Obi (ASFOPBI) has called on electorate in Nigeria to avoid the temptation of repeated the electoral mistake of 2015 but join forces with ASFOPBI to support the candidacy of 2023 Labour Party Presidential Candidate, Mr. Peter Obi and Vice Presidential Candidate, Datti Baba-Ahmed.
Speaking to Century Newsfront in Uyo, the Akwa Ibom State capital, the President of Academic Scholars for Peter Obi (ASFOPBI), Professor Peace Udosen while baring his mind on the issue of Muslim -Muslim presidential ticket of the APC and the current political imbalances that is sweeping through the political landscape of Nigeria, the renowned academic said that the Muslim -Muslim presidential ticket of APC presidential candidate is occasioned by power intoxication, greed, religious insensitivity and bigotry.
The President urged Nigerians to eschew all forms of bigotry, religious sentiments and support Mr. Peter Obi in the forthcoming presidential election 2023 in Nigeria who, according to him, is competent, accountable, young, discipline, knowledgeable and has the capacity to take Nigeria to the Eldorado. He stressed that the stance of ASFOPBI is not about religion, ethnicity or tribe but a rescue mission for the liberation of Nigeria from the shackles of what he described as ‘muslimophobia, christianophobia, corruption, internal and external slavery, unemployment, poverty and economic sabotage & debris’.
Prof. .Peace Udosen enjoined all and sundry to join effort with Mr. Peter Obi and Yusuf Datti Baba-Ahmed by getting their PVCs and get ready to vote in the forthcoming presidential election en masse. “OBI-DATTI 2023 is an unstoppable Revolution, Nigerians Shine Your Eyes, Say the truth and face the reality for the benefit of unborn generations”, he declared.
