A leading Senate aspirant for Eket (otherwise known as Akwa Ibom South) Senatorial District, Pastor Dr. Markfre Ekefre has purchased the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Senate nomination and expression of interest form at the PDP National Headquarters, Wadata House, Abuja.
The Senate hopeful was accompanied by his top supporters and flanked by a cross section of Akwa Ibom indigenes in Abuja assured members of his constituents of effective representation that will be people driven. He noted that the empowerment programmes will be such that will have direct bearings on the needs of the people as he has lived with the people, he knows their needs and if given the mandate, will make the people proud.
The Ace media professional thanked members of his constituents for the support so far received, expressed the hope that the senatorial district will have the best of times if elected into the top law making chambers in Nigeria.
Dr. Ekefre while posing with his supporters in Abuja called on citizens of the state to keep on supporting Governor Udom Emmanuel, describing him as the best thing that has happened to the state in the past decades, “I want to use this opportunity to call on all Akwa Ibomites at home and in the Diaspora to continue to support our performing governor who has brought hope to all Akwa Ibomites. Our support for the governor is a support for the completion agenda, let us show the governor that we love and appreciate his effort and projects he brought to the state”.
Ekefre who was filled with praises to God and show of appreciation to Governor Udom Emmanuel dedicated the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Senate nomination and expression of interest form to God; Governor Udom Emmanuel and the people of Eket (otherwise known as Akwa Ibom South) Senatorial District whom he described as the bases of his aspiration, “as a token of my love for God; appreciation to our dear Governor, Udom Emmanuel and the entire people of Eset Senatorial District, I dedicate this form firstly to God who gives me life and everything; secondly, to our dear Governor, His Excellency, Mr. Udom Emmanuel who has given me the opportunity in his government and lastly to the good people of Eket Senatorial District who are always there for me”.
