…As Ekefre Promises Effective Representation, Super Empowerment

Asong community was agog yesterday as the 14 PDP ward Executive, women and youths of Mkpat Enin LGA of Akwa Ibom State converged at The Ekefre, Royal compound to receive the Senate hopeful.
Pastor Dr. Markfre Ekefre who has just returned from Abuja with the PDP Senate nomination and expression of interest forms to fully participate in the Senate race for the oil city Senatorial District come 2023.
Speaking at the event, the ward chairman of Ukpum Minya ward 3, Mr. Udo Benson Etukudo thanked Dr. Ekefre for his courage and stated that pastor Markfre Ekefre is a very good person who has the overall interest of his people at heart and that he is the best candidate for the job. Also Speaking were Women leaders, youth leaders and Elders of the community.
Dr Ekefre in his speech promised to change the narrative of leadership and offer the best and exceptional representation for his people. Speaking on his strategic and super empowerment, Ekefre noted that all sections and categories of people in the senatorial district would be touched with his empowerment programme including women, youths, elderly, widows and the less privileged, “I have a covenant with God and this is when God gives me success in this race, I will step up my empowerment programmes and take it to the zenith of my ability. I 
have been engaging in empowerment activities in my small capacity and I want to take it to the highest level. Over the years, I have been involved in training our youths and the less privileged in the society in the area of tailoring, catering, fashion design, baking among others, “all these people we train, we also provided them with starter packs and most of them are now employers of labour”, Ekefre explained.
The Eket Senatorial District hopeful eulogized governor Udom Emmanuel on what he described as excellence leadership, he maintained that Governor Udom has exemplified a purposeful leadership in the state and promised to emulate the governor at the red chambers of the national assembly.
Present at the event were chapter executive of the ruling Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), in Mkpat Enin local government area. It featured messages of goodwill, promised support for Pastor Dr. Markfre Ekefre senate ambition and the presentation of PDP senatorial nomination and expression of interest forms to the delegates.
