God’s Family School Holds Graduation Ceremony

God’s Family school, a co-educational institution with nursery/primary, and secondary sections located at Mbiabam Ibiono recently held her graduation ceremony with a call on the graduands to be ambassadors of the school wherever they may find themselves.

     In his address, the, the proprietor of the school, Mr. Enefiok Essien, tasked the graduands to aim high in life while pursuing their further studies, thanking parents for being supportive to the vision of the institution.

      He said that the vision of the school is to operate a school that is different from what is obtainable elsewhere, stressing that today’s economy demands a foundation that supports self reliance  “our school is not supposed to be just a grammar school, but a system that encourages wealth creation and well rounded education, our kind of education encourages options in career choice”.

     Mr. Essien stated that the school has developed plan to implement some useful programmes such as Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM), Information and Communication Technology (ICT) and vocational programmes, charged parents whose wards are in primary school to make God’s Family secondary school their first choice.

     The proprietor stressed that God’s Family nursery/primary and secondary schools have won many awards and prizes, and have represented Ibiono Ibom local government area and Akwa Ibom state in many competitions in both sports and academic contests.

       He said that the products of the school can perfectly draw building plan of any architectural design and can as well interpret any architectural design in building and construction and wondered why many parents still take their children to grammar schools and blindfolded to pay heavily compared to the chicken change God’s Family school is charging, and  called for change of attitude from parents especially those living within the vicinity of the school.

      Mr. Essien who is a retired mathematician from the state secondary education board and author of many mathematics books said he was proud to say that the school has produced many lawyers, doctors, journalists, business executives, pastors, teachers amongst others.

       The educationist used the occasion to announce scholarships to some categories of students  in the school and promised to continue the school’s usual practice of accommodating indigent but bright students.

     Meanwhile the school management has announced admission into nursery, primary and secondary sections of the school and urged parents to use the long vacation to secure admissions for their wards at the school campus along Oforoko road by Mbak-AKTC junction and the admission unit could be reached through 08080312588.
