…. Appoints Blessing Urua, Director Technical Services
It came as a surprise when Mrs. Blessing Ufot Urua, Deputy Director in-charge of Eket Zonal Office of Ministry of Information and Strategy was appointed Director of Technical Services Directorate of Ministry.
Also appointed was Mr. Edet Nsungwara, an Assistant Director in Urue Offong/Oruko LGA who is now the Zonal Director of Eket Zonal Office of the Ministry. These appointments were made during the maiden meeting of the Permanent Secretary, Inyang Jameson with the Directors of the Ministry held in the office of the Permanent Secretary.
The Permanent Secretary congratulated the appointees and urged all Directors to be dedicated to their duties for the smooth running of the Ministry. Among top business of the day, was the unfolding of the approved new schedule of duties of the different directorates of the Ministry to the Directors with a directive for work plans by the directorates towards enhancing efficient performance of the Ministry in line with the approved budgets.
It could be recalled that, the office of the Director of Technical Services was left vacant following the appointment of Mr. Inyang Jameson, who was then the Director of Technical Services as Permanent Secretary, a couple of weeks back. We join in congratulating the new appointees and wish them success in the task ahead.
