Lasser Fever Outbreak Cases In A’Ibom State By Ernest John

The state commissioner for health Dr. Dominic Ukpong has confirmed that the Akwa Ibom State has recorded three cases of laser fever in the State. The Health Commissioner asserted this at the Inauguration of Akwa Ibom State laser fever task force in the state on monday.
Dr. Ukpong said so far laser fever cases has been reported and confirmed by the State Ministry of health said, “unfortunately one out of the three patients has died, one absconded while the remaining one is in view.
While urging the task force committee to do everything possible to eradicate the epidemic in the State and in the Country at large. Commissioner Ukpong said that the Ministry of Health will do everything within its power to eradicate laser fever from the State.
In other to keep laser fever away from the State, the State Health Commissioner advised Akwa Ibom State residents to keep their environment clean and avoid contact with rats.
