The Management and staff of Oralmedia Communications (Publishers of Century Newsfront Newspapers) have commended the state governor, Deacon Udom Emmanuel for siting Vehicle Assembling Plant (VAP) in Itu local government area.
The commendation, which was contained in published advertorials in some national and state dailies signed by the Chief Executive Officer of the Company, Evang. Saviour Ekpe, JP states that the siting of the VAP in the local government area by Governor Udom was a recognition of the cradle of industrialization in the state.
Evangelist Ekpe viewed the governor’s action as a manifestation of his genuine step taken to change the face of the state from the civil service status to a private sector driven and economically viable hub.
He appreciated the bold steps so far taken by the governor since his assumption of office, saying the speed of implementation of his campaign promises speaks volume of the governor’s willingness to bailout the state in all sectors.
Meanwhile, elders and students from Itu local government area have expressed joy over what they termed, the generosity of Governor Udom Gabriel Emmanuel to start his industrialization revolution from Itu.
Speaking with our correspondent, a banker and entrepreneur, Prince Joel Mkpong commended the state governor for siting the VAP in the local government area, describing it as the genesis of industrialization in history.
Also speaking, the National Association of Itu Students (NAITS) Worldwide, Comrade Warrior Etim Effiong said the students of the local government area were happy to identify withDeacon Udom Emmanuel based on his tract records. The National President, on behalf of the entire Itu Students Worldwide commended the governor opening the first under his administration in Itu local government area, promised the students’ support to his government.
