OB CARE Foundation Takes Cancer Awareness Campaign To LGA’S

…Provides Free Medical Check-Up

In her avowed determination at ensuring that people are sensitized on the dangers of breast cancer and other health related issues, a non-governmental organization, Only Believe Care Foundation (OB Care Foundation) over the weekend took her medical outreach project to Onna and Etinan Local Government Areas.

A team of 14 medical doctors from Akwa Ibom State, provided free medical checks to the people of Atiamkpat in Onna Local Government Area and Ikot Esen Oku in Etinan Local Government area, where serious cases were referred to the hospital.

Addressing the people at primary health centre Atiamkpat, the Founder of Only Believe-Care Foundation, Deaconess Imaobong Andrew-Essien expressed gratitude to the State Governor, Mr. Udom Emmanuel for granting the NGO approval to conduct the medical outreach.

Deaconess Andrew-Essien equally thanked Gold Quality International Limited, Skills Future Edu & Allied Services, for their sponsorship of the medical outreach.

The Founder of OB Care Foundation advised the people of the state to seek quick medical attention when faced with any health challenge, rather than resort to self-medication. The Village Head of Atiamkpat, Eteidung Udo Victor Attat and that of Ikot Esen Oku in their separate speeches, praised OB Care Foundation for bringing the medical outreach to their people and prayed God to bless the founder.

Free medical checks and drugs were provided to the people as well as school bags, sandals, exercise books distributed to school pupils.
