… As Governor’s aide fetes Oku ward 11 women

The Special Assistant to Governor Udom Emmanuel on marketing and Brand management Hon. Lydia Udoh has expressed her gratitude to God for sustaining and preserving her and the entire people of ward 11 in Uyo during a chrismas celebration party recently.
Speaking at the event, the governor’s aide implored the women of Oku ward 11 to stand firm with the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) in the upcoming general election in 2019. She however admonished that the women should not allow any other political party to deceive them for any reason. Hon. Udoh also appreciated the women, youths and the entire ward 11 for finding time to be in the occasion, stressing that it only proves that they believe in Udom Emmanuel and the course she is fighting for.
While interacting with Century Newsfront, Mrs. Lydia Udoh harped on the need for the entire Oku ward 11 to support Governor Udom Emmanuel for second term revealing that he is the only candidate that would empower and wipe their tears away, “we don’t have any other candidate that would listen to our cries than the one whom God has ordained Mr. Udom Emmanuel, let’s stand still with Udom in 2019”.
The chairman on the occasion, Hon. Aniedi Ndem while addressing a cross section of the people of ward 11 charged them to be sincere and faithful to the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) just like the Governor is faithful in all his promises. The chairman who was represented by his wife Mrs. Aniedi Ndem urged the women to support the party by force, “women take PDP by force”.
In his contribution, Mr. Harrison Essien commended the Special Assistant to the Governor on her ingenuity and implored the people of the area to reciprocate the kind gesture of a good mother who dimed it fit to share the little God has blessed her with them by delivering all PDP candidates in 2019. Youths of the area also pledged to support PDP in the 2019 general elections.
In an interaction with Newsfront century, the village coordinator of Afaha Oku Mrs. Jane Emmanuel Ben pledged on behalf of the women in Oku ward 11 to return all PDP candidates to power in 2019. Those present at the event were; Special Assistant to Governor Udom Emmanuel on projects, Mr. Michael James; Person Assistant to the Governor on protocol, Mr. Iboro Udom; Mrs. Inemesit Enobong Uwa among other participants.
The event which held at QIC Primary School, Oku featured presentation of wrappers and cash empowerment to widows and the aged, 50,000 naira cash empowerment to the youths, presentation of rice, tomatoes and groundnut oil to the fifteen units in ward 11, 100,000 naira support for the women transport fare among others.
