In 1883, there was a volcanic explosion in Krakatoa orchestrated by the eruption of Krakatoa in the Dutch East Indies (now Indonesia) which began in the afternoon of Sunday, 26 August 1883 and peaked in the late morning of Monday, 27 August. The 1883 eruption was one of the deadliest and most destructive volcanic events recorded history. At least 36,417 deaths are attributed to the eruption and the tsunamis it created. Significant additional effects were also felt around the world in the days and weeks after the volcano’s eruption.
Also, the book of Matthew 37 verse 50 to 52 captures it that “Jesus when he had cried again with a loud voice, yielded up the ghost. And behold, the veil of the temple was rent in twain from the top to the bottom; and the earth did quake, and the rocks rent; and the graves were opened; and many bodies of the saints which slept arose.” The above scenarios paint a clear picture of natural occurrences of which were orchestrated by the hand of God which no human being was able to avert.
In our society today, many lives are bedeviled with various problems ranging from the cage of sin, stubborn sicknesses that defy medical attention, mysterious attack in life, failure in life ventures, bareness, confusion due to lack of clear divine vision on how to approach life issues and situations among others. However, Jesus Christ came to the world to bear all our burdens and afflictions, and the climax of His suffering for us was marked by His last confession on the cross at Calvary that ‘it is finished. Nevertheless, many are still suffering today with their problems and challenges because they are yet to experience the explosion of God’s power that comes as a result of savouring the benefits of the redemptive price that was paid by our Saviour Jesus Christ, at Calvary.
Hence, the Lord offers a golden opportunity for everyman to come and experience the explosion of God’s power that will bring redemption as Pastor W. F Kumuyi is visiting Akwa Ibom State on Thursday September 13, 2018. The one day crusade which will take place at Unity Park, Nsikak Eduok, Udo Udoma Avenue, Uyo, will commence by 5pm. During the crusade, there will be explosion of God’s power where yokes in people’s life will be broken through the power of God. Pastor William F. Kumuyi, the servant of God cum the General Superintendent of Deeper Christian Life Ministry, worldwide is coming to the State as part of his obedience to the great commission which Jesus Christ before His ascension urged all Christians to go to all parts of the earth and preach the gospel baptizing them in His name. As the Lord has promised that signs and wonders will follow those who obey this great commission, participants are earnestly assured of harvesting miracles in this crusade.
Like the woman with an issue of blood who heard that Jesus Christ will be passing, and she was determined to have an encounter with Jesus with a very strong faith that if she could only touch the hem of His garment that she will be made whole, as many will be coming to the crusade with their sicknesses, they will experience the explosion of the power of God that will give them total healing through the spoken word of God by His servant, Pastor W. F. Kumuyi. Like “the colt tied by the door without in a place where two ways meet” according to the account in Mark 11, who accepted to follow the disciples of Jesus Christ upon hearing that the Master was in need of him, as many as will respond to this invitation to experience the explosion of God’s power, will be loosed from the shackles of the wicked that had tied them to a particular point, and they will be set free to be of service to the master.
Like the blind Bartimaeus, who was healed of his blindness because he passionately cried out to Jesus Christ, when he heard that Jesus was about to pass by his city, this is a golden opportunity for as many as are afflicted with one health challenge or the other to make themselves available for the explosion of God’s power, by coming to the venue of the programme and cry loud unto God. Like Zacchaeus, a tax collector of the city of Jericho who learned that Jesus the prophet was passing through the city, decided to push aside his short stature and short comings and climbed into the Sycamore tree to catch a glimpse of the Saviour, and ended up returning home with the Saviour, the Lord will be available for as many will jettison their predicaments and terrible situations and respond to this call to meet the Lord in this programme.
Like Hannah whose encounter with the Lord at Shiloh turned her from a barren woman to a mother of six children after deeply crying to God in prayer at Shiloh, many fruitless wombs will be fruitful as the SAVIOUR has promised to heal every barren womb among His people. Notably, one common feature experienced across the above highlighted bible characters who experienced the miraculous power of God that revolutionized their situations is that they all made themselves available at the right place and the right time for the outpouring of God’s power on them. Jesus the same yesterday, today and forever, He will be available to release His power on you as you come.
