The Lagos State Primary Health Care Board has disclosed its plan to vaccinate over 50,000 children in order to prevent deaths from rotavirus disease annually across the state.
The Director, Health Education and Health Promotion Services, LSPHCB, Mrs Clara Owojuyigbe, said this, according to a statement on Monday, during a forum held in Alausa, Ikeja. Owojuyigbe, who was represented by an Assistant Director of the board, Mrs Oluwatoyin Finnih, noted that the vaccine would be given orally to all infants at the age of six weeks, 10 weeks and 14 weeks old.
