As preparation for the 2023 elections gears up, a leading Senatorial hopeful for Uyo Senatorial District, Prof. Peace Udosen has been described as a square peg in a square hole as long as Uyo Senatorial District race is concerned.
This commendation was made by top political juggernauts of the area when Prof. Udosen and his teeming supporters paid a consultative visit to political gladiators of the area recently. Speaking on behalf of other Chapter Party Chairmen in the state, Hon. Ekong Etim decried the state of marginalization of Urual local government area in the scheme of things, “Uruan has never produced a Senator in the political history of Akwa Ibom State. Prof. Peace is the man and performing aspirant we have been looking for”.
Prof. Peace Udosen, Founder of Peace Polytechnic Abak local Government Area and Chief Consultant of Peace International interdisciplinary Research Institute, Abuja, a scholar of repute has variously been described as a man of capacity who will make Uyo Senatorial District proud in the National Assembly if given the slot come 2023.
In his speech, Prof. Udosen notified the APC Stakeholders of his vision for a pragmatic and human empowerment oriented leadership in the Senatorial District if given the opportunity, he maintained that his representation would be defined and chracterised by a revamped economy, robust empowerment, wealth creation, scholarship to students and prosperity as well as championing durable infrastructure across the nine political blocs that constitute Uyo Senatorial District.
In addition, the senator hopeful stated that with the experience of the Leader of the party in the state in the person of Senator Godswill Obot Akpabio CON, the State Chairman, Obong Stephen Ntukekpo as well as other stakeholders including Chapter, Wards, the party is set to take over the Hilltop Mansion come 2023. Hence he called on all stakeholders and members of the Party in the state to unite for exploits.
At the event, Present and former Chapter, Wards and Unit leaders excitedly Congratulated Prof. Udosen for his courage in stepping into the ring at the national stage and commended the Pro-excellent manner he consults the APC political leaders in the senatorial District.
Present at the epochal visit were Uruan APC Chapter, Wards/Units leaders; leaders and members of the Akwa Ibom Democratic Forum (ADF) and other State Representatives graced the programme.
