… Says Princess (Dr.) Victoria Ibokette’s Ideology Aligns With Peter Obi

Ahead of 2023 general elections in Nigeria, the Peter Obi Support Network (POSN), Akwa Ibom State has adopted the candidacy of Princess (Dr.) Victoria Ibokette of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) for Senate for her ideology aligning with that of Peter Obi of Labour Party (LP).
In a press release, signed by Saviour Ekpe, the Akwa Ibom State Media Director of the Peter Obi Support Network (POSN) and made available 
to Century Newsfront indicates that the Akwa Ibom State Coordinator of the Peter Obi Support Network (POSN), Deacon Iniubong Jackson with the leaders of Uyo Senatorial District of POSN after a thorough and in-depth examination of her profile, antecedence, programmes and prospect for Uyo Senatorial District and indeed, Nigeria, the group hierarchy endorsed her for the Red Chambers.
The release reads in part, “our Principal, Mr. Peter Gregory Obi’s determination to change Nigeria from consumption status to that of production and his ardent and unrepentant desire to make Nigeria work again is our goal and we have found these and other attributes in 
Princess (Dr.) Victoria Ibokette, candidate of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) for Uyo Senatorial District and we as a frontline support group for Mr. Peter Obi have formally adopted her into our family and urge her to continue in maintaining these attributes”.
The statement continues, “the election of Peter Obi requires people of like minds such as Princess (Dr.) Victoria Ibokette. Here, our emphasis is not on the political party but on men and women with similar attributes who are ready and willing to rebuild Nigeria from the present state of the quack mire to make Nigeria the envy of others to meet up with the development status of the present global community. The Nigeria of today needs a president like Peter Obi who will harness the resources of Nigeria to rebuild the country and if we have such a president, we also need vibrant and selfless members of the parliament with a strong legislative argument to leverage the President’s economic blueprint”.
The group called on all POSN in Uyo Senatorial District and indeed, all members of the zone to vote for Princess (Dr.) Victoria Ibokette, candidate of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) for Uyo Senatorial District to have a strong synergy between the president and the legislature.
It could be recalled that Princess (Dr.) Victoria Ibokette, candidate of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) for Uyo Senatorial District has over time promised members of the district a robust legislative engagement at the National Assembly and her determination to make laws that will reposition Nigeria and bring about rapid development to the country. Her philosophy has always been that of creating an enabling environment for businesses to thrive and engaging citizens with meaningful means of livelihood to stimulate economic growth. Princess Ibokette, a strong believer and advocate of peace is a security consultant.
Speaking to Century Newsfront, the Coordinator of Princess Victoria Ibokette Foundation (PVIF), Mrs. Imelda Innocent appreciated the Leadership of Peter Obi Support Network (POSN), Akwa Ibom State for seeing outside the box and identifying the excellent qualities of Princess (Dr.) Victoria Ibokette and subsequently adopted her as their sole candidate for Uyo Senatorial District. Mrs. Innocent added that Princess (Dr.) Victoria Ibokette is the first and only female that has come out to contest for the top legislative job in the senatorial district, she expressed the hope that Dr. Ibokette, given her pedigree and antecedents in human empowerment will make an excellent legislator in Nigeria and urged to people of Uyo Senatorial District to come out enmasse on February, 25 to vote a capacity woman who will change the course of the district.
