…Says The Entire Uruan People Support Her Ambition
…As Princess (Dr.) Victoria Ibokette Visits Uruan TRC

The Paramount Ruler of Uruan local government area, His Royal Majesty, Edidem (Rt. Hon.) Cosmas Bassey Nkanga said that himself, the Uruan Traditional Rulers Council (TRC) and the entire people of Uruan have thrown in their support for Princess (Dr.) Victoria Ibokette senatorial candidacy.
The Paramount Ruler made this declaration in his palace when the campaign team of Princess (Dr.) Victoria Ibokette paid a consultative visit to the TRC recently. Narrating a story on how he felt when the Executive Chairman of a certain local government area, a lady who played an active role in the installation of their Paramount Ruler, noted 
that that action was memorial on his mind, he maintained that having a female Senator in Uyo Senatorial District will inject fresh air in the Senatorial District.
Edidem Nkanga while pledging his support to the senatorial hopeful advised her to continue in her campaign in other local government areas within the district as her winning is assured, “I accept you from the top of my head to the soles of my feet. Since I represent God in Uruan, I am calling on God to stand by you to succeed and you will succeed and when you succeed, remember the people of Uruan. My advice is that continue on your campaign to other local government 
areas, as for Uruan, we have accepted you wholly and totally”.
The Paramount Ruler was flanked by his dear wife, Her Royal Majesty, Akwa Obonganwan Aniebiet Cosmas Bassey Nkanga and members of the Uruan Traditional Rulers Council.
Earlier in her address, the candidate of the ADC (African Democratic Congress) for Uyo Senatorial District, Princess (Dr.) Victoria Ibokette said that her advent in the political ring was aimed at accessing the benefits and allocation meant for Uyo Senatorial District to the people of the district.
She explained that many opportunities such as free scholarships for students, grants for men and women, training within and outside the country for the people are eluding them because there is no one to activate and made them available to the people, she promised that she will harness and activate those opportunities for the good of the people.
While chatting with Century Newsfront, Princess Ibokette regretted that the palace of the Paramount Ruler is not befitting, she said that given the opportunity, she will explore various means to make sure that not only the Paramount Ruler of Uruan but other Paramount Rulers within her senatorial district are given due treatment and royalty.
