The women, men, youths and physically challenged people in Etinan local government area have risen in unison in support of the candidacy of Princess (Dr.) Victoria Ibokette for Senate of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

Speaking separately in their various communities in Odoro Ikot Etinan and Ikot Ananga all in Etinan local government area said that Princess (Dr.) Victoria Ibokette is a bonafide and very responsible citizen of Etinan and they can never through away what they have on the altar of politics and political party.

A Clergyman in Odoro Ikot Etinan, Apostle Abasiubong David Akan Running through memory lane eulogised the late father of Princess Ibokette who according to him was a man with a human heart who sacrificed everything to ensure the people of his community and indeed, the then Cross River are protected, defended and well positioned anywhere they were.

Apostle Akan observed the man first daughter, Princess (Dr.) Victoria Ibokette emulates the philanthropic gesture of her late father hence, the need for the people of Etinan and indeed, Uyo Senatorial District needs to support her aspiration in order for her to expand her empowerment and development to the people of the state and Nigeria.

In Ikot Ananga, a woman leader and mobilizer, Mrs. Uduak Ikpat while receiving the campaign of Princess (Dr.) Victoria Ibokette said she would employ and explore her strength, energy and connection to personally campaign for Princess Ibokette senatorial candidacy as she is ably qualified in all standards to represent Uyo Senatorial District in the National Assembly.

The campaign train of Princess (Dr.) Victoria Ibokette for Senate also visited the Mbong Mkparawa Iman in Etinan during their regular meeting as a mark of honour. In his response, the Chair of Chairs of the 64 Mbong Mkparawa Iman Ibom (Youth Presidents), Elder Donald Usoro appreciated the team. He said that the emergence of Princess Ibokette as candidate for Uyo Senatorial District is a pride to Etinan. Elder Donald Usoro who also doubles as the Youth President of Ikot Abasi no 1 added that the body needs a special day to formally anoint Princess Ibokette for the top lawmaking job in the country.

Speaking earlier, the ADC (African Democratic Congress), candidate for Uyo Senatorial District, Princess (Dr.) Victoria Ibokette said that a vote for her at the  2023 senatorial election is a vote for development, progress, prosperity, security and empowerment that will culminate in the overall interest of the senatorial district.

represented by the Campaign Manager, Dr. Saviour Ekpe, the candidate reiterated her commitment to the empowerment of women, the welfare of the elders and exposure of the youths to various opportunities in the global space. she explained the handshaking logo of the party that will appear on the ballot box, not the Princess’ picture. she called on the people to take the message to other communities.
