…Endorses Umo Eno for Gov, Dr. Markfre Ekefre for ESD

As the 2023 general elections draw near, a frontline Non-Governmental organization in the country, Women Of Foresight Nigeria has repositioned themselves to ensure that only credible men and women are voted into power.
They made this declaration in Uyo, the Akwa Ibom State capital recently when they staged a one million match in support of the governorship aspirant in the state, Pastor Umo Eno and Eket Senatorial District aspirant, Pastor Dr. Markfre Ekefre and rounded off in a by-annual general congress of the organization with strong-worded communiqué.
Speaking and presenting a copy of the three pungent communiqué and made available to Century Newsfront, which was jointly signed by Barr. Henrietta Ekefre, National President; Pastor (Mrs.) Elizabeth Ukpong, National Vice President; Lady Christy Solomon, National Secretary; Mrs. Mfon Etuk Johnny, Financial Secretary and Engr. (Mrs.) Ekaette Inyang, Director Training. Others included Pastor (Mrs.) Comfort Ekpo, Director Welfare; Pastor (Mrs.) Florence Ekpo, National Treasurer; Mrs. Veronica Okune, Director- Education; Mrs. Aniema A. Itah, Director Empowerment and Dr. (Mrs.) Esther Andrews, Director-Women Mobilization.
The submission of the women reads in part, “We hereby endorse Pastor Umo Eno as the next governor of Akwa Ibom State because he is a true man of God with a total fear of God which is the beginning of wisdom, as he is also a great entrepreneur who has employed over 500 workers in Akwa Ibom State into his various purposeful companies even while in the private life as it has really impacted positively on the society in poverty eradication. Judging from his antecedent and achievements in human capital development, it is certain that if (he) Pastor Umo Eno becomes the governor of Akwa Ibom State in 2023, the sky shall not be our limit in terms of peace and immense prosperity…We also support and endorse Pastor Dr. Markfre Ekefre as the next Senator for Eket Senatorial District come 2023 because he is also a man of good heart with the fear of God, a seasoned journalist, God’s servant and a licensed teacher who has contributed marvelously in media and education sector with massive development and empowerment of our teaming youths towards a better future. With the duo of Pastor Umo Eno as our Governor and Pastor Dr. Markfre Ekefre as our Senator, the kingdom of God shall triumph and the land shall prosper and the people shall rejoice to the glory of God – Prov. 29:2”.
In a similar vein, the women group has vowed to resist anybody, group and organization that may, either surreptitiously of directly stage an uproar to destabilize the peace the state enjoys today, to distract, discredit or attempt to disqualify the completion agenda of the present administration-led by Mr. Udom Gabriel Emmanuel, “the women have resolved to support Governor Udom Emmanuel to succeed in his Completion Agenda and succession plan which are geared toward the interest of Akwa Ibom State. So we the entire members of the women of foresight of Nigeria have thrown our total and unalloyed support for governor Udom Emmanuel completion agenda and succession plan”.
