….Commends Prof. Benard Odoh for exposing the sad state of APC in Ebonyi
Lady Monica Chidinma Ada Eze, the Founder and President of David Umahi Nweze Akuburoah Ebonyi Transformation Agenda (DUNAETA), a Non Governmental Organisation (NGO) has described the threat by Senator Sunny Ogbuoji to revoke the contracts for the ongoing construction of the ecumenical center, the Ebonyi International Shopping Mall and the new Government House which he Ogbuoji described as white elephant projects as a revelation of Ogbuoji’s ignorance of what these projects stand for and his sinister and devious plots against Ebonyi State.
Monica stated that Senator Ogbuoji exposed his devious plots while addressing some of the inner caucus members of his political campaign organization while assuring his supporters of his victory come 9th March, 2019. To achieve this, the APC gubernatorial candidate in Ebonyi State for the coming elections have concluded arrangements to import mercenaries from neighbouring States to be camped in an undisclosed areas to thumbprint the ballot papers knowing very well that on his own, he can’t win his polling Unit not to talk of making any impact in the State.
In a press statement which she signed and made available to Century Newsfront on Monday, 4th March 2019, Monica admonishes Senator Ogbuoji that incase he doesn’t understand what the ecumenical center stands for, that the ecumenical center was conceived by the administration of Gov Dave Nweze Umahi as appreciation to God for His love towards Ebonyi State and Ebonyians for giving the State a committed Governor like Apostle Dave Nweze Umahi who has within four years in the saddle of the leadership of the State turned the State into a sophisticated and modern State envied by other States in Nigeria.
Secondly, the centre was conceived to serve as a place of worship where every Ebonyian can turn to at the point of any challenge or crisis no matter the location and call on the God of Elijah and he will answer you by fire. In short the ecumenical center is to Ebonyians what the temple constructed by King Solomon in Jerusalem is to the Jewish nation and for a son of Ebonyi State because of politics to threaten to revoke such a project is simply a demonstration that such a character doesn’t have the interest of Ebonyi at heart and must be stopped by the voters come 9th March, 2019.
She commended Gov Umahi for his foresight in starting off the construction of the International Shopping Mall that will go a long way to ease the lives of Ebonyians and stop them from traveling everytime to Enugu State to purchase some sensitive items that the Mall will provide. Continuing she said, “The idea of a new befitting Government House for Ebonyi State is an idea well conceived and assured the Governor that no plot will stop the actualization of all these projects because Senator Ogbuoji lacks what it takes to defeat Apostle Umahi in any election in Ebonyi State.”
The DUNAETA President who also doubles as the Technical Assistant (TA) on Media to Governor Umahi wondered how Senator Sunny Ogbuoji the sleeping APC gubernatorial candidate who has abandoned embarking on campaigns or engage in any rally to be taken seriously as gubernatorial candidate in the State. Ada Ebonyi who won her polling unit during the last elections convincingly commended Prof. Benard Odoh, the erstwhile Secretary to the Ebonyi State Government who now doubles as the god-father of APC in Ebonyi State for exposing the sorry state of APC in Ebonyi.
According to Prof Odoh, the All Progressives Congress (APC) chieftain, “the party’s lack of cohesion, party wrangling and lack of team spirit, were responsible for its loss during the Feb. 23, Presidential and National Assembly election in Ebonyi”. Monica then wondered how such a party in such a pitiable state could confront a cohesive and combat party like PDP with a divine driven Governor like Apostle Umahi in a gubernatorial election.
Ada Ebonyi who is encouraged by the positive statement of President Muhammadu Buhari that Governor Umahi is a great, visionary leader and Light to other Governors in Nigeria affirming his stand that Governor Umahi is a great leader whose inputs are needed for the new Nigeria being envisaged.
The fact remains that Governor Umahi has proved beyond every doubt that he is on a divine mission in Ebonyi State and anybody plotting to truncate God’s vision for our dear State will be highly resisted accordingly” Ada Ebonyi said.
