The frontline aspirant for Itu/Ibiono Ibom Federal Constituency 2023, Rt. Hon. (Barr.) Ime Bassey Okon has reiterated his commitment to seeing that his ambition is given the needed focus and push to be successful for the interest of the Federal Constituency in the upcoming PDP Primaries and the general elections.
He made the emphasis today while hosting media professionals and online influencers in the Itu/Ibiono Ibom Unity Project 2023 Campaign Organization at his residence.
According to him, “I want to appreciate your effort in promoting activities of this Campaign Organisation so far towards my ambition for the Itu/Ibiono Ibom Federal Seat. I commend you all. Also, I want to say that nothing distracts the focus of the cause as the PDP Primaries approach and even during the main elections. Itu/Ibiono Ibom deserves the best.”
He appreciated the State Governor, Mr. Udom Emmanuel for maintaining the peaceful ambience in the state and the progress in the Completion Agenda. He urged the people to support the Completion Agenda and Succession plan of the Governor.
The two-term Lawmaker for Ibiono Ibom State Constituency assured the media team that he is on course and determined to fulfil all his promises to the Federal Constituency if elected.
The legal luminary went further to solicit more support and a coordinated zeal from the publicity department of the Campaign Organisation for greater work and achievements in the future as time draws closer to the primaries.
Also speaking, the Secretary of the Itu/Ibiono Ibom Unity Project 2023 Campaign Organisation, Rt. Hon. Dominic Udoatan who is also the SA to Governor Udom Emmanuel on Project Monitoring, acknowledged the media-push so far on the activities of the Campaign Organisation. He sued for more commitment to the task ahead.
Many concerns were raised by members of the unit to facilitate greater accomplishments and smoother outing in the future. Other members of the Campaign Organisation present were; DG, Hon. Godwin Mbeke; Hon Victor Nyong among others.
