The Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria, PFN has adopted Sunday June 26, 2022 as PVC Sunday across the country.
The decision was taken on Thursday, June 16 after the National Executive Committee meeting in Lagos. All members of the Pentecostal Churches are to attend service on that day with their Permanent Voters Cards. The church leadership will also ensure that statistics of those with their voters cards are taken and forwarded to the state chairmen, who will in turn forward the statistics to the national office.
Ministers of the PFN churches are also asked to use the PVCs and pray for Nigeria and the forthcoming elections in particular, after which a communion service will take place. The National leadership has also directed that all PFN ministers should ensure that they mobilize their members who are up to the voting age to register to vote.
Meanwhile the PFN has constituted a National committee that will advise the leadership of the fellowship on the candidates to vote for in the forthcoming 2023 elections.
