Akwa Ibom State Governor, Pastor Umo Eno has congratulated the Commissioner for Information and Strategy, Comrade Ini Ememobong on his 40th birthday.
The governor described the commissioner as a brother and friend who looks at issues dispassionately. He stressed that the legal expert is an inspiration to his generation, adding that Ememobong has fulfilled the scriptural obligation of not despising his youthful age.
The birthday message signed by the governor reads, “On behalf of the government and people of Akwa Ibom State, I join your family, friends, associates and admirers to wish you a Happy Birthday.
You have been a brother and a friend; one who looks at issues dispassionately, especially at EXCO meetings. You are an inspiration to your generation and have fulfilled the scriptural admonition which says ‘Let no man despise thy youth. As you turn forty, given what you have already packed in your impactful short years, the sky is certainly your limit. Keep shining. God bless your new age.”
In reaction, Ememobong has taken to his Facebook page to express his gratitude to the governor for the birthday wishes. He wrote, “This letter from my Governor made my birthday and honourably welcomed me to the fourth floor. And that he addressed me in this formal letter as his brother (which he usually does informally) is very comforting. Many thanks Your Excellency.”
