IDEA Pays Condolence Visit On Late Prof Godwin Umoette’s Family

It was indeed a splendid and glorious moment when members of Ibom Development and Empowerment Assembly- IDEA paid a special Condolence visit to the family of their departed Pioneer National Adviser, Late Bishop Prof. Godwin T. Umoette at his country home, Ikot Akpan Ishiet, Onna LGA, Akwa Ibom State.

The visit was led by its President, Pastor Dr. Markfre Ekefre with top members of the group who were adorned in the organization attire with boldly written insignia of the body, accompanied by brass band that led the procession.

The delegation was received by the first son and wife of the deceased, Akaninyene and Elizabeth Umoette flanked by other members of the family who appreciated the group for the visit. The son announced that the burial proper would take effect on Saturday 27th August 2020 at their country home, Ikot Akpan Ishiet, Onna Local Government Area. He used the opportunity to invite the general public at home and in the Diaspora to attend and witness the final journey of the patriarch to his eternal home.
