Multiplied Grace Fellowship Celebrates Nineth Anniversary

…As Imabong Uwem Andrew-Essien Is Ordained A Pastor

Wife of the Permanent Secretary and Accountant  General of Akwa Ibom State, Deaconess Imabong Uwem Andrew-Essien has been ordained as Pastor of the Multiplied Grace Fellowship.

The ordination which was part of the activities to mark the 9th anniversary of the Fellowship was performed by the founder and President,  Uma Ukpai Evangelistic Association, Rev. Dr. Uma Ukpai Friday, 9th June, 2023. Dr. Ukpai declared that with the ordination of Pastor (Mrs) Imabong Uwem Andrew-Essien,  as Pastor, she becomes a “touch not” to the enemy.

The theme of this year’s celebration “Seasons of abundance is drawn from Deuteronomy, chapter 33 verse 19. Also, 35 students in tertiary institutions across the State and one master Iniubong Udeme Charles,  of Lutheran Primary School were given scholarships, for their dedication and sacrifices in God’s vineyard.

Preaching from Exodus chapter 23 verses 25 through 27, Rev  Dr. Uma Ukpai, listed the blessings associated with committed service to God including, healing and fruitfulness. Dr. Uma Ukpai warned Christians against weariness in the place of service to God, noting that, with God nothing is impossible.

The lead Pastor and the Permanent Secretary and Accountant General of Akwa Ibom State, Pastor Uwem Andrew-Essien, setting the tone for the event, said, the Fellowship which started as “a child of necessity”, in his parlour, due to challenges of life with only his family members has enjoyed God’s grace on all fronts.

The celebration equally featured, drama, song ministration,  Bible citation by JSS 2 students, the dedication of the Multiplied Grace Fellowship prayer manual and the cutting of the anniversary cake. Multiplied Grace Fellowship is a non denominational Fellowship, located at Bezaleel Hall, along Akwa Ibom State House of Assembly Road, Uyo, Akwa Ibom State. People from all walks of life graced the event.
