The youth fellowship of Qua Iboe church, Edem Idim Ibesit, Itung Superintendency conducted a free, fair and credible election in the church to supersede the immediate past Exco members who worked tremendously for five years.
The delegates, Mr. Inime Matthew, the Youth President of Itung Superintendency; and Mr. Ata-Ime Udoka from the Central youth executives conducted the election in the church. Those present were Elder Friday Usen; Elder Sunday Frank, the Church committee chairman; Elder Anietie Akpan, the church Secretary; Pastor Akam Jude, the Presiding Pastor; Deacons/Deaconesses, Choirs and the entire members of the church also graced the event.
On the election results, those who emerged and were sworn in were Nsebong Asuquo, President; Godwin Samuel, Vice President; Unyime Friday, Secretary; Mbuotidem Jude, Assistant Secretary; Esit-Ima Samuel, Treasurer; Imobong Jacob, Financial Secretary and Edidiong Samuel, Assistant Secretary. Others are Nsidibe Isaiah, Public Relations Officer 1; Ikobong Jonah, Public Relations Officer 2; Unyime Samuel, Choir Coordinator; Etido Samuel, Assistant Choir Coordinator; Pastor Akam Jude, Youth Organizer; Idara John, Prayer Coordinator; Ekeno Jude, Welfare Officer and Mmenyene Phillip, Children Ministry Coordinator.
In his acceptance address, the newly sworn-in President on behalf of the executive members expressed joy and satisfaction over the conduct of the election. He advised the youth fellowship members to uphold humility as their priority and shun tribalism which could only cause division among the youths. He called for full and total support, cooperation and participation in youth activities either at the local or national level.
