Itu Assemblyman appreciates God, fetes Constituent

In a show of gratitude to the Almighty God, the member representing Itu State Constituency in the Akwa Ibom State House of Assembly, Hon. KufreAbasi Edidem last weekend led his family, constituent and friends to Living Faith Church (Winners Chapel) Itiam Edem Akai off Four Lanes, Uyo while reception was held at Community Secondary Commercial School, Ibiaku Itam in Itu to thank God for his successful election and Inauguration as member of the Akwa Ibom State House of Assembly. Expressing his gratitude, “this day I have come to return all the glory to God, because he has done more than my imagination”.

Appreciating the Executive Governor of Akwa Ibom State, His Excellency, Deacon Udom Gabriel Emmanuel, whom he described as a standard bearer of good governance and beacon of hope, for teaching them humility, patience, integrity, selflessness and forgiveness in the face of political intimidation and adversities.

Hon. Edidem promised to do his very best to give the people of Itu State Constituency a robust and a resounding representation., “I am deeply humbled and honoured by your expression of confidence through support when you elected me as your representative in the Akwa Ibom State House of Assembly.     In fact, thank you is not enough to express my profound gratitude to you all for standing by me throughout the electioneering period.

Edidem also promised a sustainable peace and corporation with the Speaker of the 7th Assembly, Rt. Hon. Aniekan Bassey to restore the lost Glory in Itu State Constituency, “I am grateful to my family, friends, well-wishers, and the PDP family for their unflinching support , most importantly, I thank God Almighty for divine guidance, protection and wisdom. We will cooperate with the Speaker for sustainable development of the state, the Assembly and our constituencies”

In his remarks, the Akwa Ibom State Chairman of the ruling People Democratic Party (PDP), Obong Paul Ekpo, thanked God for the peaceful conduct of election in the state and Itu in particular, no dead was recorded and we returned all the Glory to God Almighty, We are gathering here today to celebrate Victory, God benevolence and love for Akwa Ibom State, Governor Udom Emmanuel and all other PDP candidates”. 

According to Ekpo, who described KufreAbasi Edidem as a man of peace, God fearing and lover of progress, he further thanked the people of Itu for the choice of KufreAbasi for peace, unity and progress
