This statement, ‘Man know thyself’ is attributed to Socrates, an Athenian moral philosopher. The basic explanation for the term ‘man know thyself’ is that knowledge of oneself leads to a possible mastery of self and development of self for the benefit of self, others and the society at large. And most importantly, the complete knowledge of one’s state of heart matters. So today, let’s talk about “Erectile Dysfunction” or say Men sexual and Prostate Health.

This isn’t a strange language to men, especially when you’re 40 years and above; you would have one time or the other experience this ailment. Erectile dysfunction (ED) is the inability to get or keep an erection firm enough to have sexual intercourse. It’s sometimes referred to as impotence, although this term is now used less often.

Others are ▪Sleep disorders ▪Drug usage ▪Consuming too much alcohol ▪Using tobacco products ▪Certain health conditions, such as Parkinson’s disease or multiple sclerosis (MS) ▪Damage to the pelvic area through injury or surgery ▪Peyronie’s disease, which causes scar tissue to develop in the penis.


There are several steps you can take to help prevent ED. Many of these steps involve making healthy lifestyle changes. Therefore, they’re not only good for preventing ED, but also for improving your overall health. Follow the advice below to help prevent ED: 1. Keep medical conditions such as heart disease and diabetes under control 2. Make sure that you get regular exercise 3. Maintain a healthy weight 4. Focus on eating a healthy diet 5. Find ways to reduce or manage stress 6. Seek help if you’re experiencing anxiety or depression 7. Quit smoking 8. Only take alcohol in moderation 9. Avoid using drugs that haven’t been recommended by your doctor and or abuse noon of drugs.
