..Sues for Cooperation
The Sector Commander, Federal Road Safety Corps, Akwa Ibom State Command, Commander Ochi Oga Samuel has sued for the support of the Accountant General of Akwa Ibom State in its fight at ensuring safety on the roads.
Commander Samuel who made the plea Friday,26th, June, 2020 during a courtesy visit on the Accountant General in his office said the issue of safety should be the concern of all and sundry.
The Sector Commander acknowledged the cordial relationship existing between the Office of the Accountant General and the Sector Command and appealed that same be extended to him to enable him to succeed in his new position.
The Accountant General of Akwa Ibom State, Pastor Uwem Andrew- Essien who congratulated the Sector Commander on his posting to the State said his office and that of the Command has enjoyed the robust working relationship, assuring him of his continued support. Pastor Andrew- Essien stressed on the need to regularly sensitize road users on safety measures as well as observing high way codes to curb incidences of auto crash. Sector Commander Ochi Oga Samuel has worked as Sector Head of Operations in many Commands across the Country.
The Sector Commander who joined the Corps in 1987, hails from Benue State.
