A great citadel of academic empowerment and knowledge diffusion in Abak, an urban city in Akwa Ibom oil-rich city, Peace Institute of Management Technology (Peace Poly) will be agog on Saturday as eminent scholars among them, Professor Paul Godwin, the Chancellor, British America Business School and Country Director, Hipdet University, USA/Cameroun; Professor Idara Akpabio, University of Uyo will grace the epochal event.
In a world press conference held in Uyo, the Akwa Ibom State capital, the Rector and head of administration of Peace Institute of Management Technology (Peace Poly), Professor Peace Udosen who was flanked by some senior members of the academic staff of the institution said that the 2023 matriculation will wear a new look as world-class and renown scholars around the globe will grace the matriculation ceremony, “I am excited to announce to gentlemen of the press that Peace Poly will on Saturday, June 17, 2023 wear a new look as it will play host to erudite scholars both within and outside the shores of Nigeria because of its strategic contributions to knowledge development and impacts”.
The Rector noted that the guest lecturer was selected by the Management of the institution in view of his track records and contributions to the development of the society, “I make bold to add that our guest lecturer, an erudite scholar, former Dean, Faculty of Science, University of Uyo, past Chairman, Committee of Deans of same University, the Coordinator, Advanced Space Technology Applications Laboratory, Uyo – Prof. Idara Akpabio will present a lecture on the topic, ‘Knowledge Management And Self Development In A Challenging Economy’. Professor Paul Godwin, the Chancellor, British America Business School and Country Director, Hipdet University, USA/Cameroun will grace our occasion as Guest of Honour”.
He noted that the event would be held at the School Pavilion Kilometer 4, Ikot Abasi Ekparakwa, Ibagwa Road by 10am. While inviting other scholars and the general public to attend the ceremony, he also explained that admission is still in progress into ND, HND, B.Sc/B.Ed, PGDE, M.Sc among others and charged members of the public to take advantage of her affiliate programmes both full-time and part-time to advance their academic aspirations.
