Suspected Ritualists Defile 3 months-Old Baby, Cutoff Lips of Vagina

POLICE Operatives attached to the Nasarawa State Command are currently on the trail of suspected ritualizes who seized a 90 days day old baby from her bed, defiled and dumped her in an uncompleted building; having severed lips of her genitalia.

Sources said the bizarre incident which took place at Adogi community in Lafia local government area threw the entire community into a state of confusion as villagers throng out in their numbers in search of the toddler before she was found in the uncompleted building with blood gushing out of her vagina.

According to sources, the mother of the baby had kept her in the custody of her 45-year-old granny Mrs. Zule Inusa, who while sleeping kept the doors open because of intense heat occasioned by weeks of blackout; adding that perpetrators of the dastardly act took advantage of the situation to sneak into the bedroom and whisked the defenceless baby away.

But a source close to the Commissioner of Police CP Bola Longe said the brains behind the vile would soon be rounded up and brought to justice even as the distraught grandmother has sent an SOS to the state Governor, Abdullahi Sule and other security operatives in the state to come to their aid by ensuring that perpetrators were promptly brought to book.
